Another beautiful day in Punta Cana!

Our girls are making palms look so much better!

What seemed like a good idea to go for a walk with your sweetheart to the beach, turned up to be a fun run back to villa after Mark and Helen went couple of streets away from home when pouring tropical rain just start running like from a bucket! It turned up to be a good exercise jogging back to villa and getting hold of the towels but it was fun to watch and certainly fun to experience :-)

A new engagement – Mark and Helen! What a beautiful couple! You can’t find more ideal couple then them! These two people are so similar in so many ways, although they are coming from two different cultures but seems like God created them just for each other, but missed a bit with residency and put them in two different continents.

On the pictures: We arrived into fancy sea food restaurant (where Mark decided to propose to Helen), it was pouring rain when we got there, I went inside to ask if waiters have an umbrella but they best they could come with was a black trash bag, but at least it was clan. So, Helen put it on herself and got completely covered under it, you can see her in a car and that trash bag looking like veil :-) but looks so fancy on this beautiful lady!

It was a first time in Helen’s life she had a lobster!

After couple of drinks we got very comfy on mini sofas at the ocean front restaurant, very romantic atmosphere, and peaceful, warm ocean breeze, fresh air…

Now looking back at photos of Helen I think she had a feeling that a very special moment that will change her life forever is coming. Women are very sensitive to these kinds of things.

At one moment, Mark excused himself and said that he wants to take a look at the souvenir shop, he left me with Helen. When he came back, he said that he bought a souvenir to Helen and maybe she would like to take it with her to Ukraine. The way that little package looked, I also thought that he is giving her a souvenir, until she unwrapped a package and there is was “a box” every girl in love here dreams to see in her hands… Helen was silent, she was under shock and couldn’t believe what’s happening. She didn’t know what to do until Mark asked her in broken Russian language “BECOME MY WIFE”.

Helen got lost in words and she was only nodding with her head in sign of agreement. A huge and warm happy smile start showing on her face when she glanced a last time on single Mark’s face – this is him who is her fiancée now. She then understood that “yes, this moment of true happiness spending the rest of your life with your loved man just had happened!”.

She then just hugged him and broke in tears of happiness with promise to never let him go…

Night swimming in a swimming pool with clothes on.

Imagine: almost midnight - Yuliya is laying down by the swimming pool – Alena is taking her photos, when Olga got an idea to push Yuliya into the pool while she was not expecting it at all. So, it was all Olga’s idea but me as an action person, I had to do the “dirty work”, so I while trying to push Yulia into the pool and almost succeeding in it – someone behind me (as I figured later was Tania) pushed me behind as well, so I flew over Yuliya into the pool with my clothes on as well. When I found out that Tania was the “bandit”, I had to chase her around the pool for a pay back time, so Tania was a third one going in. While Anna was laughing at us – we decided that she has to “suffer” as well, so all 3 of us got out of the pool and got Anna in it!

While Alena was laughing at us and taking photos – when she saw all of us coming over, she decided not to argue and just put her camera aside and jumped with us.

Luckily enough Irina was passing by, so guess what happened to Irina!

Olga – the initiator of all this was quietly smiling at the bench by the pool when she saw us coming after her, her only request was “let me take off my Dolce and Cabana” expensive shoes off :-)

And Mark G. was videotaping all this actions when he saw all 8 wet and dripping girls coming over, he knew he had only few second to take his phone out of his pants and turn the video camera off!

It was truly so much fun, Mark G. and all 8 girls all swimming and playing in pool. It was truly amazing and Mark said that “He never had so much fun in one night and that Russian are actually know how to have fun too :-)”

What a day it was: Anna got sunburn, so she is a little fried on these photos, apparently soft European skin definitely requires a protection from Caribbean hot sun, Anna learned something new today.

Today Mark R. was making a chicken barbeque; oh it was yummy, chicken marinated in oranges! Of course while our man want barbequing we had just a little time to spare by getting cocktails together and making few photos.

Alena and Yuliya decided to goof around with pineapple and bananas a little bit in front of the camera by making pineapple look pretty :-)  Alena wanted to take a photo pretending she holds a pineapple on her head and Yulia “helped” her with that! Yeah, right Yuliya, nobody can see you behind Alena while you are holding a pineapple over her head! :-)

And Anna and Tania decided to make sure a beer tastes good before serving it to the table :-)

Then we decided to watch “American Idol” finale while waiting for chicken to be ready, everybody is sooo hungry!

Irina was the first one to get hold of finally ready and very tasty Orange Chicken!
